Eric Malu-Malu is not only the talented guitarist of the group Jupiter & Okwess, recognized on international stages such as Glastonbury, Roskilde or Coachella; he is above all a visionary cultural operator committed to the transformation of the Congolese musical landscape. Born and raised in Kinshasa, Eric has always been driven by a desire to structure and professionalize a sector often left abandoned.

In 2018, he brought this vision to life by founding Kinarmonik, a music center dedicated to the development of local talent. Through Kinarmonik, Éric strives to address the challenges facing Congolese musicians by offering them a training and creative framework adapted to the demands of the international market.

Its objective is clear: to make Kinarmonik a model of professionalization for a musical sector in search of recognition and structuring.

The creation of the Kinarmonik Production Label in 2022 marks a new step in his project. This label aims to be a springboard for Congolese artists, offering them the tools they need to develop their careers in the long term. With 15 years of experience in the music industry, Éric Malu-Malu intends to build an ecosystem where artists can flourish professionally, while contributing to the rise of Congolese culture on the world stage.

Lou, born in Paris in 1971, is the direct collaborator of Éric Malu-Malu and co-founder of Kinarmonik. Daughter of a guitarist, she worked for years with Johnny Hallyday, Lou grew up in a musical universe that deeply marked her.

Her love for Africa is not new: since childhood, she has been fascinated by African cultures, after studying general and comparative literature, Lou undertook a first trip to Rwanda, but it was in Burkina Faso that she became fully involved and founded the Kofila Jigi association, dedicated to local development.

His meeting with Éric Malu-Malu during a Jupiter & Okwess concert would be decisive.

From this long friendship was born Kinarmonik, a project which allows him to combine his two great passions: music and African cultures.

Through Kinarmonik, Lou & Eric are committed to contributing to the transmission and promotion of Congolese musical wealth.

Lou and Yarol Poupaud

Yarol Poupaud , guitarist, renowned producer and founding member of the group FFF, has imposed his unique style on the French music scene, combining rock, funk, blues, and much more.

His involvement in Kinarmonik reflects his desire to always explore new artistic avenues and support innovative projects that push musical boundaries. From the beginning, he has passionately invested himself in the project by providing his expertise, making himself available to young Kinshasa musicians, as with the group Yotsi, for whom he personally supervised the mixing of their first album Maisha, infusing it with his know-how and energy and giving it exceptional sound quality.

His commitment goes beyond simple technical support: Yarol firmly believes in the potential of these young musicians and the importance of helping them to be heard on the international scene.

Ray Lema , the immense Franco-Congolese composer and pianist of international renown, brings inestimable cultural wealth to Kinarmonik.

Kinarmonik can count on the deep commitment of Ray Lema, who despite his international career, remains deeply attached to his Congolese roots. For Ray it is a way to contribute to contemporary Congolese music and to strengthen his bond with his native country.

Through this project, Ray Lema supports and encourages the new generation of Congolese musicians.

His involvement in the album Maisha by the group Yotsi, where he collaborated as a featuring, testifies to his desire to see these young artists flourish and be heard on the world stage.

Ray Lema regularly donates to the center, contributing to the development of this essential project for young local talents. He sends musical instruments, books, and other essential resources, with the aim of strengthening the capacities of young musicians in Kinshasa.

With these gestures, Ray is not only supporting Kinarmonik, he is actively participating in building a musical future for his home country.

Together, Yarol Poupaud and Ray Lema embody invaluable support for Kinamronik, not only as sponsors, but also as mentors who help young talents from Kinshasa make their way in the music industry.

Their active participation in the album Maisha des Yotsi is a strong symbol of their commitment to promoting and shining the spotlight on the creativity of tomorrow's artists.
