KINAGROOVE, THE FESTIVAL OF ALL MUSIC...
Kinagroove is an innovative festival launched on June 21, 2024 in Kinshasa, born from the joint initiative of Kinarmonik and The Groove Studio Live . This festival aims to highlight emerging talents on the Congolese music scene, while promoting the richness and diversity of the country's musical genres.
Contrary to the predominance often given to rumba, Kinagroove opens the stage to all styles, from rap to gospel, including rock, to offer a complete representation of contemporary Congolese music.
For its first edition, 11 groups with varied musical universes were selected, thus testifying to the cultural and artistic diversity of the country. However, Kinagroove does not limit itself to simply promoting artists. The festival also aims to help them become professionals by offering them essential workshops. These sessions include training on the creation of technical sheets, essential for their performances, as well as on the use of free tools such as Canva for visual creation or SoundCloud for the diffusion of their music online.
Selected artists also benefit from exclusive discounts thanks to the festival's initiating structures. Kinarmonik offers advantageous rates for the studio recording of one of their tracks, while The Groove Studio Live offers them preferential conditions for the video recording of a live performance. These advantages allow artists to realize their projects in a professional setting, while optimizing their resources.
Kinagroove was an unforgettable experience for all participants. The bands had the opportunity to meet, share their experiences and strengthen the bonds of solidarity between them, regardless of the musical styles they represent. This festival embodies not only a discovery platform for the public, but also a real springboard for the artists, accompanying them in their professional and artistic development.
Thanks to the commitment of Kinarmonik and The Groove Studio Live, Kinagroove Festival asserts itself as a key event for the new generation of Congolese musicians, celebrating the musical diversity of the country and supporting emerging talents in their journey towards recognition.

During the first edition of the Kinagroove Festival, all costs were fully covered by the two organizers. For the 2025 edition, our ambition is to bring together groups from all regions of the DRC, and to cover the transport costs as well as to fairly remunerate all selected artists.
To achieve this vision, we are exploring various sources of funding, including grants, sponsor partnerships, and crowdfunding.
Your support, in the form of donations, can also make a real difference.
